I-Giant’s versatile T5 technology design is perfect for new installations or can simply replace existing standard footprint T8 batten luminaires. Manufactured in accordance with BS EN 60598, utilising high quality control gear and components, together with quality branded T5 lamps. The ECO-DIM is an energy efficient intelligent T5 light fitting in a high Impact Vapour Proof case. The high frequency movement sensor dims the light to at least 20% of full power when the area is unoccupied or there is sufficient sun light available.

HOUSING:
Two widths are available to best meet your lighting requirement, designed specifically for T5 lamps and come fully assembled. Housing is designed for damp locations and is watertight for optimal performance and durability.

REFLECTIVE:
Highly reflective MIRO 4 reflectors utilized. Consult supplier for more details on reflective options.

LENSES:
Very tough high impact shatterproof polycarbonate with lineal Fresnel prismatic diffusers as standard. Damage resistance is ideal for parking garages. Consult supplier for other lens options.

MOUNTING/HARDWARE:
Two-piece hinged latches standard. Stainless steel one-piece latches optional. Standard fixture is supplied with EASY-FIT mounting brackets. Stainless steel mounting brackets are optional. Stainless steel hardware recommended for carwashes. No hole ever has to be drilled through the housing for installation. The EASY-FIT external mounting system can provide dramatic savings by drastically reducing the installation labour.

MAINTENANCE:
I-Giant’s VP series features Tool-Free removal of the lens and gear tray for easy access to all parts in seconds. Poured in place gasket and cam latches seal the enclosure from most hostile environments.

High Frequency Motion Sensor - Hidden and Practical:
The High Frequency sensitivity adjustable switch is especially suitable for vapour proof fi ttings as there is no need to drill any holes for installing. The HF Sensor can see through the casing and will operate and function from inside the fi tting. Using intelligent and hi-tech features, referring to Doppler’s principle, when someone is moving within the sensors operating range the main lamp (controlled by sensor’s relay) will turn on automatically. The lamp will not turn off until everyone has left it’s operating range and no movement is detected for the full duration of the relay delay time

High Frequency Motion Sensor - Sensitive and Good for a British Climate Change:
Nowadays outdoor and indoor temperatures can easily exceed 33°C especially in ceiling, covered and roof areas and fall below 5°C just if someone leaves a door open! The problem with PIR systems is that they are heavily reliable on the environment being maintained within a narrow temperature range. PIR switches can rapidly and sharply decrease in sensitivity as temperatures rise above 33°C and even worse can fail completely (switch off) when the temperature drops to less than 5°C
