The EcoPlasma™ lights are installed in the Pilot Chicken farm in Meeuwen, Belgium
The maximum light level is 4000 lux and the minimum is 180 lux in the corners.

The young chicks in the first week. Only part of the Stable is in use with the EcoPlasma™ unit’s and on the foreground the normaly used fluoresent lighting is on. Notice the low lightlevel ( 25 lux ) that is usual in the indoor Livestock industry.

The chickens have started eating and drinking on the first day and are very active during the sulphur plasma lighting period of 16 hour. In the night the light level is the usual 25 lux and then they sleep.

Heaters are used to warm up the stable. As soon as the chickens are able to keep themselves warm the heaters can be shut down. When using the EcoPlasma™ the heaters are shut down a week earlier then usual.
